High quality tank, nearly perfect
"Forgive the 4-star review, I think it's a fantastic tank -- I just can't honestly give anything a perfect rating if the product isn't perfect. It's very high quality all around, from walls to cap to valve. Stacks well. The handles are great and strong. The cap has ridges making it easy to cinch down or remove. The cap also has a small valve that lets air in/out if you push on it. I REALLY like how the molding will pinch a hose and hold it in place while filling. What could be better: Drain plug is very small, requires tilting container onto its corner and either propping it up or holding it for several minutes while you get the last drops out. It's also not a recessed hole, so the water has no way to get out unless you tilt it just right. If it's angled flush with the ground/floor it won't drain. Would be nice if there was a way to see how full the tank is. . . it has volume markings but at least with the gray ones you can't see where the water level is. Some products have a narrow translucent vertical stripe that lets you see the level. I would like that for this. (Bonus points if the stripe was still UV-blocking. ) The handles are so good, I wish there were like 2 more of them on the long sides. Would also make group carrying easier. Last suggestion, which I know they're working on after talking to their good customer support, is the preserver droplets don't have instructions on them or volume information. Turns out it's 12 drops per gallon, or about 2/3 the bottle per 35 gallon tank. Thanks for the good support!"
